Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District – Sarah Corkery

Sarah Corkery is a mom, cancer survivor, and community activist running for Congress to  strengthen our national security, improve public safety, and keep us safe.

As a community activist engaged in healthcare advocacy, Sarah knows what it takes to work across the aisle to fight for the common good. She is the parent of a child with a disability, and after seeing inequities present to kids like him, she worked with partners across the political spectrum to raise over $1 million to build an accessible park in Cedar Falls so that every child can feel included.

“This campaign is about you. It’s about your health, your families, and your communities,” Sarah said. “I know what it’s like to have to fight systems that don’t work for everyday Iowans, and that’s why I’m running for Congress. With everyday community members writing the laws in Washington, we can build a government that truly works for us. “
